Back Thursday: Neetu Kapoor remembers Do Kaliyaan’s child act; Soni, Alia Bhatt’s mom, says ‘cute before and now’
Recently, lead star Neetu Kapoor took the internet by storm by sharing a return music video from her film, Do Kaliyaan, where she acted as a child artist. Remembering the days with “ a lot of makeup, ” Neetu left fans and loved ones in awe.
Among the senior stars who started their Bollywood careers as a child artist, Neetu Kapoor’s name shines at the top. The senior star started working in films as a child actress and one of the films she directed was Do Kaliyaan. The classic 1968 film remains special for Neetu fans and recently the senior star shared a snippet of a song from the film as a homecoming treat for all. Seeing the cute little girl in the video, several celebrities reacted, including Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan.
Taking her Instagram account, Neetu shared a music video for Do Kaliyaan’s song Murga Murgi Pyaar Se Dekhe and recalled the good old days as a child artist when she “ applied a lot of makeup. ” The video featured the elderly star as a little girl in a white dress. Upon seeing the cute video, Alia’s mother Soni reacted. She wrote: “Omg. You haven’t changed a bit you know! Cute yesterday and now.” On the flip side, Neetu’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni called her “cutest” and Saba Pataudi wrote: “My favorite movie Neetu aunty Do kaliyan …. addicted back then lol .. . stay safe.

Meanwhile, Neetu stayed at home amid the COVID 19 crisis. Recently, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt visited him at her home on the first anniversary of Rishi Kapoor’s death. She reportedly kept a puja at the house where other family members joined Zoom Call amid the COVID 19 rush. The senior star returned to the set after her husband and veteran actor Rishi Kapoor went missing in 2020. She will be back in Jugg Jug Jeeyo with Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani.
