Collaboration between Tory Burch and Shiseido for the cutest SPF products of summer 2021
Not So Hot Hold: Applying SPF is always fun, as you prevent aging, sunburn, and future skin cancer. But it’s even more fun this summer with the new Shiseido and Tory Burch collaboration, which combines the Japanese brand’s most popular and easy-to-mix SPFs (Ultimate Sun Protector Lotion SPF 50+ Sunscreen and Clear Sunscreen Stick SPF 50 +) with a super kawaii print from the American designer.
Shiseido’s instantly recognizable golden-yellow wrapper is sprinkled with delicate white flowers inspired by the flora found at Burch’s vacation home in Antigua. The cream and stick formulas are both Hawaii compliant and oxybenzone and octinoxate free. The collaboration comes with a virtuous moment: The two brands have joined forces to fund a one-year clinical research fellowship focused on skin cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Taking kawaii-ness a step further, Burch has designed a full capsule collection to match: there’s a ruffled UPF swimsuit, a bikini top and bottom, thongs and a tote bag for you you were fully protected from the sun this summer.
