External banks picks up in Season 2 where it left off, with John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah (Madelyn Cline) now fugitives on the run, trying to find the royal merchant’s treasure. Things are also escalating quickly in North Carolina, with party members still on the island discovering a map that looks like it could lead to a whole new scavenger hunt. (Friday rank: 1)

Ashley Greene and Shawn Ashmore in this phantasmagoria which is (largely) based on real events as a couple moving into a house for a fresh start as their marriage has encountered obstacles in the way. Strange things start to happen and the house’s tragic past kicks in. Even this boring description is more exciting than what actually takes place in the movie. (Friday rank: 7)

You’ve heard the plot of this one so many times: Members of a US special forces unit are betrayed by their master and decide to take revenge on him. Chris Evans, Zoe Saldana, and Idris Elba star in this 2010 action flick, before joining the Marvel Machine. (Friday rank: 6)
